All time obligations will be considered when evaluating potential employment. All students may apply for the Resident Assistant position, however, those with large commitments that conflict with the position will be a factor in the offering of a position. The RA position is one in which the student-staff member must be available to their residents and present in their hall on a consistent basis. Obligations such as a study abroad experience, other full-time/part-time employment, student teaching, full-time/part-time internships, etc. will weigh into the decision on employment. If you are anticipating having these obligations please speak with Nathan Wagar, Director of Residence Life. Preference will be given to qualified applicants that are most available.
